Alyssa McCathie is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has been making art from a young age, and developed a serious interest in ceramics in high school. She taught pottery classes at a local studio before entering the University of Minnesota in 2016. After acceptance in the  BFA program, she developed a practice in printmaking. Her print and digital collage work was published in The Tower magazine in 2019. She studied abroad at the University of Arts London for textile design, and hopes to expand her printmaking to wearable textiles for her next exhibition in November, 2020.
